Transport provided, site. Continue into States of AL, FL, GA, NC, SC, TN, VA. This is a temporary, full-time seasonal position from 12/15/2017 to 9/15/2018.Duties: TREE PLANTING: hand plant tree seedlings without J/U root, handle dibble bars, and hoedads. Pack soil to secure seedling using planting tool. Planting in weather/ terrain conditions. Spray/inject vegetation with insecticides to kill insects/protect against disease, spray with herbicides to reduce competing vegetatio tops/limbs to control growth, increase density, or improve shape. Remove excess vegetation. Mark agricultural or forestry products for identification & other rela activities as per SOC/OES 45-4011 (onetonline.org).Requirements: Must be 18 due to travel. Must show proof of legal authority to work in the U.S. Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco free work zone. Must walk substantially (u stoop, bend while carrying a pack (up to 50lbs) thru rough terrain (non-trail). No min. edu. reqmt. OJT All applicants must be able, willing, qualified to perform w available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment. Based on Employer's discretion/cost: Wrkr may have random dr employment: positive test/ refusal to abide = dismissal.Terms & Conditions of Employment: $9.60/hr up to possible $19.78/hr OT $14.40/hr up to possible $29.67/hr. The wage(s) offered equal(s) or exceed(s) the highest of the prevailing wage or the Federal, State, or local minimum wage. Po work. Outdoors, exposed to weather; must be capable of doing physically strenuous labor for long hours, occasionally in extreme heat or cold. Variable weather fluctuate (+/-), possible downtime and/or OT. OT not required. This employer will also comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws pertaining to overtiTransportation: Transportation and subsistence will be reimbursed (by check in 1st work week) for cost from the place from which the worker has come to work in the U.S. or abroad, to the place of employment. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportati home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. Th payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided a during travel to a maximum of $51 per day with receipts.3/4s Guarantee: The worker is guaranteed employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of each 12-week period Tools, equipment & supplies: All work will be done with employer provided tools, supplies and equipment without charge or deposit.Miscellaneous: Will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.
