Provide critical logistics support to the PM Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Fleet Manager specifically in the area of the DoD acquisition process and documentation; interpretation/application of DoD, Army and PEO acquisition and logistics policies and directives; and coordination with representatives of other commands, DoD components and Headquarters Department of the Army.

Duties will consist of performing long range planning to synchronize all ILS functions for U.S. Government acquisitions in support of the UAS programs maintained by the Product Manager (PdM), Medium Altitude Endurance(MAE); planning the support strategies for organic and commercial logistical support for PM-UAS acquisition programs; serve as a conduit between ASA (ALT), AMCOM, PEO Aviation, PM UAS, and PdM MAE.


Bachelor's Degree is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. The candidate must have at least 15 years of work experience.

The candidate must communicate effectively in writing and in person-to-person contacts with various levels of technical, professional, management, and administrative personnel, as well as collaborate with heads of units to negotiate solutions, schedule changes, and coordinate supporting services.

Candidate should has previous experience briefing/coordinating with PEO, DA, and DoD staff

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to identify technical issues and risks with the written and oral communication skills to accurately articulate those issues/risks for resolution. Position will require interaction with PRO Aviation, Department of the Army, and Department of Defense staff agencies.

Should understand the elements of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) as they apply to the DoD acquisition process and material fielding.

Need to have an understanding, preferably extensive experience, in the following areas: Logistics Management Information (LMI) data, Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), Depot Maintenance Transition Plan (DMTP), Core Depot Assessment (CDA), Core Logistics Assessment (CLA), and Business Case Analysis (BCA).

Experience working on a program with in the Army Working Capital Fund (AWCF) and/or transitioning a program in to the AWCF.

Ability to identify and determine work-arounds for short and long term factors affecting a program's schedule and or production by re-allocating assets, resolving logistical issues relating to the total life cycle management, and Provisioning.

Familiarity with the full range of acquisition logistics functions found in DoD Instruction 5000.02 is desired.

Must be available to travel as required.

US Citizenship is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain and retain the designated Government clearance (Secret). Must have an active Secret clearance.
