          Senior GMD Lead Engineer

          Summary:
          B.S. Degree in Math, Physics or other engineering related discipline plus a minimum of 10+ years experience in flight and/or simulation based performance analysis. This position will be responsible for the understanding of Ground-based Midcourse Defense Simulation (GMDSim) system level functionality down to the component level algorithm functionality. This position will also support problem report and course-of-action analyses, and provide Subject Matter Expert level understanding for the Certification and VV&A teams support. Desirable technical skills with specific disciplines include C/C++, Ada, MATLAB, Linux, PC Platforms and plotting software. This position supports a team composed of government and contractor personnel from multiple organizations. Therefore, written and verbal communication skills are essential. The position will require the ability to work effectively with a team and as an individual performer. Some limited travel may be required.

          Position requires that candidate meet the requirements to obtain a final security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to obtain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
