Seek and obtain quotes for tooling/fixturing design, build, and timely delivery of tooling. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives into the production process to increase efficiency, reduce cycle time, reduce defects, and eliminate waste. Develop and implement mistake proofing solutions into the production process. Develop and maintain work instructions using HMSCapp System. Identify, document, and resolve conformance issues utilizing the TipQA database. Assist define task requirements for section personnel and provide on-the-job training to ensure capability to meet performance requirements. Provide production support with day-to-day Quality/Test engineering activities. Support new plant initiatives for teaming (Whole Systems Business Model, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma).Qualifications:Strong problem-solving, computer, and communication skills.Proficient with computers and office applications. Able to serve on a multi-disciplinary team, and manage multiple tasks to completion. Able to work in a complex industrial environment which requires working on surfaces at various heights and in awkward and confined positions. Able to lift, crawl, stoop, bend, kneel, and climb to work all aspects of within the industrial environment. Able to communicate with employees at all levels of the corporationAble to conduct and lead professional business meetings. Able to meet ASR requirements.*U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract. Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management / Research, Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
