Summary:
B.S. Degree in Math, Physics or other engineering related discipline plus a minimum of 10+ years experience in flight and/or simulation based performance analysis and Verification, Validation and Accreditation (VV&A). This position will primarily involve task lead duties relating to Verification, Validation and Accreditation and performance analysis efforts for Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) related simulations. Specific emphasis is upon the VV&A of these components. Specific emphasis is upon the models and simulations that are used to represent the GMD Components in the various real-time and non-real-time test venues. It is highly desirable that a candidate for this position have experience with high/medium fidelity simulation, tactical weapon systems, embedded software, and scenario development and/or performance assessment. Any level of experience with GMD related systems, sensors or threat signatures would be particularly beneficial. Desirable technical skills with specific disciplines include C/C++, MATLAB, Linux, PC Platforms and plotting software. This position supports a team composed of government and contractor personnel from multiple organizations. Therefore, written and verbal communication skills are essential. The position will require the ability to work effectively with a team and as an individual performer. Some limited travel may be required.
Position requires that candidate meet the requirements to obtain a final security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to obtain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
