Summary:
B.S. Degree in Math, Physics or other engineering related discipline with 0 to 5 years experience in flight and/or simulation based performance analysis and Verification, Validation and Accreditation (VV&A). This position will primarily involve performing VV&A efforts for Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) related simulations. Specific emphasis is upon the VV&A of these components. The simulations consist of large codes that are implemented in C, and C++ and execute in medium/high fidelity configurations. Any level of experience with simulations and tactical weapon systems, GMD related systems, sensors or threat signatures would be beneficial. Desirable technical skills with specific disciplines include C/C++, MATLAB, Linux, PC Platforms and plotting software. This position supports a team composed of government and contractor personnel from multiple organizations. Therefore, written and verbal communication skills are essential. The position will require the ability to work effectively with a team and as an individual performer. Some limited travel may be required.
Position requires that candidate meet the requirements to obtain a final security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to obtain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
