Analyzes scenarios, provides solutions and recommendations to protect the environment, customers, and employees.Primary ResponsibilitiesCreates new ways to solve existing production security issuesInvestigates intrusion incidents, conduct forensic investigations and mount incident responsesEvaluates new technologies and processes that enhance security capabilitiesEstablishes plans and protocols to protect data and information systems against unauthorized access, modification and/or destructionDelivers technical reports on daily activitiesAnalyzes and advises on new security technologies and program conformanceMaintains knowledge with current emerging technologies and advancements within Information SecurityTakes initiative and responsibility for achieving desired resultsThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED and combination of six years related post-secondary education and/or experience in Information Security or Information TechnologyDemonstrate strong organizational, research, analytical and / or problem-solving skills to evaluate situations, make recommendations and take effective actionCapable of articulating complex technical concepts or scenarios to both technical and non-technical audiencesSubject Matter Expert (SME) in one or more security domainsPreferencesBachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or directly related fieldRelevant security certificationsFinancial services experienceStrong knowledge and practical experience in the following areas:Incident response technologies and methodologiesConfiguration and operation of the Windows/Linux/MAC Operating systemsScripting languages such as Perl/Python/PowershellApplication whitelisting and enterprise anti-malware (Configuration/management/rule writing)Rule writing in YaraForensic and static malware analysisStrong research/analysis skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsCISSP/GIAC and other industry standard certificates a plusVEVRAA Federal ContractorWe request Priority Protected Veteran & Disabled Referrals for all of our locations within the state.We are an equal opportunity employer.
